UK couldn’t shed the baggage of not beating Steve Spurrier. He and his South Carolina team even gave the ball to Kentucky 5 or 6 times and my cats still couldn’t take down the aggressive one. Maybe Spurrier will leave South Carolina and land somewhere like Florida A&M. Then maybe they will be in a rebuilding year and we’ll play them. We’ll play the game of our lives and they will play poorly and we’ll pull one out in the closing minutes.
This all was easier to take when the Cats stepped up this week and sent Mr. Petrino packing. I hope Louisville wins the Big East. I hope the Falcons win their division in the NFC and I hope Arkansas gets throttled once they get into the tough part of the SEC schedule. Maybe Petrino will leave for the NBA this time.
