Let me start by saying that I am not a huge fan of John McCain’s. Second, let me say that I supported Mike Huckabee in the primaries and now I support the policies of Ron Paul. Actually, I think our country is doomed without the type of revolution that Ron Paul is bringing about. Third, let me say that Barack Obama is a radical. Not a liberal, not just another democrat; but a radical. I hope I offend lots of people with my post. If it offends you, stop reading my blog. This reminds me of a quote from Bill Cosby who said ” I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone”.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s talk. If you are simply going to vote for Obama because he represents change and you don’t want another 8 years of Bush, then why don’t you sit this one out. I voted for Bush twice and I don’t want another 8 years of Bush either. Could you really vote for Al Gore or John Kerry over Bush though? Even playing Monday morning quarterback I couldn’t vote for those two. I wish we had an Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan or George Washington running for President. I wish we had leaders like Ben Franklin or Patrick Henry. We don’t. We have some very uncolorful options. But if you cast a vote for Barack Obama, you are voting for a radical. Make no mistake about it.
If I were John McCain in tonight’s debate, I would have sit down at the table and looked squarely at Obama. Then I would have said, hi I’m John McCain and you are- Barack Obama- well Senator Obama tell me about yourself.
Tell me about your childhood, where did you grow up and what was your family like? What kind of things did you dream about as a young child? What do you remember about your schooling? Where did you go to college? How were you able to get in that school or how did you pay for it? What did you do after you graduated? When did you realize you wanted to get into politics? Now what exactly does a community organizer do? What qualified you to be a state senator in Illinois? Why did you vote present so many times on key issues? Wouldn’t yes or no suffice? Are you indecisive? I’m sorry back to the introduction. How did your 3 years as an attorney and years as a state senator prepare you to run for President? I’m sorry I omitted the last 4 years when you were a US Senator- I guess that’s really 2 years since you spent the last 2 running for President. Well actually you spent the first two signing books and voting present as well. I’m sorry back to the questions again? Have you traveled outside of the country much? Do you love your country? Do you believe in capitalism? Do you support a strict adherence to our constitution? What’s up with you and this Bill Ayers guy? He’s a distinguished professor you say- well they call our congressman and senators distinguished gentlemen so maybe we should start looking for a better adjective. What about your ties to Accorn? Aren’t they totally undermining our republic with their illegal voter registration campaigns? Do you think they’ve used any of the money you’ve given them to support these fraudulent activities? What about your support of planned parenthood? They aren’t exactly pro choice now are they? More pro abortion with actual goals for the number of abortions in a day. Also in lawsuits because of fraudulent applications to planning and zoning committees. What about Rev Wright? All those years he was pulling the wool over your eyes? You couldn’t see the wolf in sheeps clothing until just now. How is your neighbor Louis Farrakhan? And how is that nation of islam doing these days? Have you been down to talk with Chavez in Venezuela lately? What’s he been up to? I’m sure Bill Ayers will give you the update. What about your Saudi connections? You know Khalid Al Mansour? Well I tell you what, I’m short on time so we’re going to have to pick this conversation up again sometime later.
Maybe next time you have dinner party I can be a guest of honor. I can see it now. Me, you, Michelle, Khalid Al Mansour, Chavez, Farrakhan, Rev Wright, Bill Ayers, Joe Biden, maybe we can even get Castro to come up. Of course his health has taken a turn for the worse.
You’ve been warned. This guy is dangerous.
On a lighter note I had a buddy tell me that the only way Obama could lose is by putting a Cubs jersey on.
On a closing note. If you are the following then you’ll probably vote for Obama regardless of what I say or anybody else says for that matter.
If you do not like to accept responsibility for your own actions. If you aren’t accountable for your own results. If you think someone else should take care of your _______ fill in the blank, health care, education, gas money, food, schooling, new ipod, etc. If you think that someone else should be the federal government. They have a great spending record. Very efficient brood as well. If you are always the victim. If you think our nation is not great. If you think our constitution is a living a breathing document, and should be changed at every whim and fancy. If you think everything is relative and there is no absolute truth. If you sheepishly think that politicians are not corrupt, but big business is. If you sheepishly think that unions are not just as corrupt as big business. I have a revelation- they all have corruption. If you think big business is the cause of inflation, high prices, low wages, deflation, and artificial interest rates. If you think the federal reserve is your buddy. If you support a woman’s choice to kill unwanted babies, but you strive for the protection of baby polar bears. If you believe these things then God help you. Our founding fathers would have thrown you people into the sea. They revolted because of a tax on their morning tea. They would have eaten you people for lunch.
Politics aside-God loves us all the same and the ground is level at the foot of the cross. Jesus came that you may have life and have it to the full. One sinner saved by grace signing off to a bunch of other sinners who can be saved by grace if you’re not already. Of course that was intolerate and offensive of me, but it’s my blog.
